Ergonomic keyboards with curved key layouts have always had a stable following, but the market offers fewer and fewer options. Logitech, which has been consistently focusing on ergonomic office peripherals in recent years, has launched the Wave Keys keyboard with a curved layout, following its ERGO K860 keyboard. The overall layout of the Wave Keys is more compact than the ERGO K860, but it still maintains a natural working angle for users' hands during long typing sessions, thanks to its wave-shaped keyboard design and built-in soft wrist rest.
The Logitech Wave Keys keyboard does not feature the split design of the ERGO K860, and it also removes the function key area. The arrow keys are integrated into the main key area, resulting in a more compact layout that reduces the keyboard's width. However, it still maintains a wave-shaped curve and raised design in the center to conform to the shape of the hand.
Regarding wrist support, the Logitech Wave Keys keyboard extends a design below, directly integrating the wrist rest permanently with the keyboard. The surface material appears to be fabric (though it's hard to tell from the small image), and it features three layers of memory foam for support. However, it's unclear if the material is the same as that used in the K860.
As for connectivity and charging capabilities, the Logitech Wave Keys keyboard also uses the new generation Bolt wireless standard and Bluetooth Low Energy transmission, and supports the Easy-switch function for quick switching between three devices. The keyboard is powered by two AAA batteries.
