A while ago, I saw a multi-device wireless keyboard, the Logitech K580, in our own news center. To be honest, I was definitely attracted by its appearance, so I bravely decided to give it a try. Today, I'd like to briefly share with you how great this keyboard is, which claims to support two sets of Bluetooth and Logitech Unifying wireless receivers, and is easy to switch between devices!
The design is indeed very stylish
The Logitech K580's design is definitely very minimalist, and its size is really small, yet it still manages to retain the numeric keypad, which is quite good. It's quite different from the keyboards Sze usually uses. The keyboard's tilt is said to be ergonomically designed to effectively reduce fatigue from long periods of typing. Sze is using it to type this article right now, and for a modern keyboard like this, it's pretty good. Sze usually doesn't take well to such thin keyboards.
Dual-platform one-key switching is super simple
The K580 supports both Bluetooth and USB receiver connections, and features exclusive "Easy-Switch" technology for seamless switching between phone and computer. Simply set it up, and with a press of F11 / F12 on the keyboard, you can quickly switch from typing on your computer to typing on your phone. If you need a multi-purpose device, this K580 is indeed quite excellent.
Conclusion: "The first thin keyboard that feels pretty good to type on"
I've always been skeptical of such thin keyboards. Firstly, after all these years of typing, I'm used to big, chunky keys that make typing satisfying. But this K580 actually gave me a pretty good typing experience, which is rare. However, its dual-platform support isn't really that useful for me. Firstly, I've put a lot of things on the cloud, so if I need to type, doing it on the computer is the most convenient. But if I use it with an iPad? That's actually pretty good! Especially for writing, this keyboard is really quite decent, at least it feels like working on a computer. But there's one thing I really don't understand: why do so many new keyboards no longer have the "Print Screen" key? I use that function all the time, and I really don't get why it's gone... Maybe they think general users will gradually reduce their reliance on Windows and shift towards Android/iOS for daily work!
