E-sports bring many business opportunities, and accessory manufacturers have also benefited from this. To meet the demands of PC gamers, many accessory manufacturers are scrambling to launch extremely lightweight gaming mice. Take Logitech as an example: they previously released the G Pro Wireless, weighing only 79g, and then launched an even lighter gaming mouse, the G Pro X Superlight, weighing only 63g.
Logitech claims that in addition to further reducing its weight, the G Pro X Superlight has also improved in other aspects, such as increasing the surface area of the PTFE feet and adopting the Hero 25K sensor, which boosts the resolution to 25,000 DPI. Furthermore, the battery life has been extended from 60 hours to 70 hours, allowing players to enjoy longer gaming sessions. The G Pro X Superlight uses Lightspeed wireless connection technology, and its USB receiver can be stored at the bottom of the mouse. However, the charging interface continues to use microUSB, and its design is the same as the G Pro Wireless, reducing the need for players to re-adapt after upgrading.
The Logitech G Pro X Superlight will be launched in the US market in early December, priced at US$149.99 (approximately HK$1,163), and will be available in black and white. However, if you're looking for an even lighter mouse, Razer's Viper Mini weighs only 61g, which is 2g lighter than the G Pro X Superlight.
