As long as the game supports it, subtle vibrations and frequency changes when the vehicle drives on different surfaces or when the engine status changes will be transmitted to the steering wheel, similar to the HD rumble feature of the Switch console. This differs from the "dead rumble" effect of the past. The G923 is compatible with PS4, PC, and will support the upcoming PS5.
Other features include intelligent dual-clutch control: customize dual-clutch launch control in supported games to simulate the launch assist function of real racing. Accelerate off the starting line with maximum traction and minimal tire slippage. Built-in RPM indicator: Color LED indicators built into the steering wheel handle display the engine's RPM range and even warn the player when the engine reaches the redline. Advanced brake pedal: A new brake pedal with a progressive spring provides more realistic feedback and control. For real-time fine-tuning requirements in racing, there's a 24-Point Selection Dial: The built-in selection dial allows players to customize parameters such as tire friction, torque, automatic stability management, and brake drive.
During a test drive in "Project CARS 3", the steering wheel felt excellent. Besides the noticeably different vibration sensations on the track and on sand, the hardness of the three pedals was also closer to that of a real car, and the responsiveness compared to other steering wheels also improved.
